This is an additional fee to the $45 athlete registration.
All state, county, city and/or facility rules/guidelines pertaining to COVID will be followed that are in place at the time of the event. The Alabama Senior Olympics ask that each athlete takes their individual health risk, concerns and doctors recommendations into deciding whether or not the athlete should participate in this years events. All participants will be required to sign a separate COVID Waiver each day of competition agreeing they understand the risk of participating during a global pandemic.
1. Golfers must provide their own clubs.
3. PGA members may compete as long as they are not on the PGA Tour and adhere to the Definition of a Professional Rule I of the Official Sport Rules for 2022. The NSGA has the right to determine pro status.
Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for each style within each age division.
Men's 50-64: Slope Rating 131 / White tee
50-54 = 83 55-59 = 84 60-64 = 85
Men's 65+: Slope Rating 117 / Teal tee
65-74 = 79 75-84 = 86 85-89 = 89 90+ = 50 (9 holes)
Women's 50+: Slope Rating 121 / Teal tee
50-54 = 92 55-64 = 93 65-74 = 97 75-79 = 100 80-84 = 101 85-89 = 115 90+ = 60 (9 holes)

1. Athletes finishing 1st and those meeting this sport’s NSGA minimum performance standards in competition at a 2021 NSGA qualifying games will qualify for the 2022 National Senior Games. Qualifiers will be determined by 18-hole gross score played on a course with a minimum par of 70 and a United States Golf Association (USGA) slope rating between 119 and 126 for men and between 113 and 120 for women. Handicap scores are not acceptable for qualifying. Nine-hole gross scores are permitted only for those 90 and older. In competitions with more than an 18-hole competition, any single 18-hole score meeting the golf minimum performance standard will qualify a competitor for the NSGA tournament. For open state qualifiers, Rule H applies.
NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES REGISTRATION CAPACITY
For the National Senior Games in 2022 the number of registrants may be limited for some sports/events and registration could reach capacity for the respective sports/events at any point during the Priority Registration Period or the Open Registration Period. NSGA is unable to guarantee entry into sports/events that reach registration capacity for the 2022 National Senior Games presented by Humana.
