with NSGA

The Alabama Senior Olympics serves as an official qualifier event for the National Senior Games Association. By participating in ASO, athletes age 50 + have the opportunity to advance to the national level and compete in the prestigious NSGA championships.

What Is NSGA?

The National Senior Games Association is the country’s leading organization for multisport competition among adults aged 50 and over. NSGA events bring together hundreds of athletes from around the United States to compete, challenge themselves, and celebrate active aging.

How You Qualify Through ASO

  • Participate in one of our qualifying sports at ASO.
  • Finish in a top position (as defined by NSGA event rules).
  • Register and meet eligibility requirements for the national games through NSGA.
  • Stay tuned for details on the upcoming NSGA event: 2027 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
