Registration Dates & Eligibility

Attention athletes:

Softball registration opens July 1st

Athletes competing in the Alabama Senior Olympics in hopes to qualify for the National Senior Olympic Games.

All athletes must be age 50 or older as of December 31, 2026 to compete.

Max capacity of 500 has been met.

How to Register

1. Click the “Online Registration” button to begin the process.

2. Complete your athlete profile – enter name, age bracket, sport selections, and contact info.

3. Submit the appropriate registration fee (see details below).

4. Show up on event day with a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or military ID) to verify age at check in.

Fees, Sports Limits & Policies

Individual & Doubles Events

Registration Fee: $55

This fee allows participation in as many individual or doubles events as you like provided there are no scheduling conflicts.

Sports specific surcharges may apply:
– Pickleball: $5 additional tournament software fee
– Bowling: $15 additional per event
– Golf $70 additional site fee (includes lunch)

Team Sports

Team Fee: $125
Per Player Fee: $15

for each athlete on the team
Applies to sports such as basketball, softball, volleyball

What’s Included for Registered Athletes

Event T-shirt upon check-in

1 t-shirt per athlete

Complimentary water, sport drinks and snack bars at venues where permitted

Access to the event schedule, competition brackets, results and age-division placements
